The app currently offers 7 functions in its smart toolbox.

1. Folding rule:
It’s not just a rule. The MechLab folding rule allows you to measure areas of unlimited length. Just tap the screen with your finger and swipe the device underneath.

2nd protractor:
With the protractor, you can quickly measure the tilt. The device’s position sensor indicates the exact angle.

3.investigation:
This is a digital caliper. Simply place the object on the screen and describe it. The length, width and area are already displayed.

4. Magnetic sensor:
With the magnetic sensor, magnetic fields can be detected and the force is displayed. With some sensors, power lines can be found in the wall.

5. Spirit level:
A handy bubble level makes leveling easy. A circular bottle and a digital display indicate the tilt.

6. Compare:
This function allows you to quickly compare the bolts or nuts needed. In the app, these are displayed in actual size. No more guessing which mother you need right now. Just compare. currently only metric!

7. Light measurement:
The tool displays the current LUX value with the sensor built into the device. A measurement can be started to obtain the maximum value. Ideal for analyzing room lighting or for measuring TV, monitor.

Calibration:
In order for the application to work accurately, it must be calibrated once. With the function in the app, it’s really fast. A ruler or the narrow side of a credit card will do.

Please note that the app must have the following built-in sensors for all functions.
-Orientation sensor

-Light sensor
