Unlike standard metronomes which simply tell the time, Gap Click helps you improve your sense of time. Gap Click focuses on improving your ability to keep the beat, become more aware and comfortable with staggered clicks, and thereby become bulletproof and precise with all the notes in the subdivision.

CLICK GAP

By scrolling through the number of bars and patterns, you can quickly set up an “interval” of time during which the metronome falls. When the “one” comes back, will your game still be on time? How long can you play while maintaining a solid tempo?

MOVE CLICK

Then you can experiment with all kinds of shifted patterns in the space bar which moves the click from the downbeat position to a different location. Can you still play your instrument and sustain the downbeat internally even when you hear the click sound on an offset?

The “click” and “gap” parts support a variety of different syncopated patterns allowing you to practice in binary or ternary rhythms – with more or less a safety net depending on your settings.
