Switch GPS is an easy-to-use app that includes three widgets to easily enable, disable or enable GPS status. In addition, not only GPS can be activated but also the mobile network location service.

This app can execute commands (enable / disable / toggle GPS) from other apps eg Tasker. Use the following configuration for Tasker (New Task> System> Send Intent):

Additional:

STATUS: 0 .. to enable GPS
STATUS: 1 .. in order to deactivate GPS
And STATUS: 2 .. to switch GPS

Toggle GPS status by apps is generally not allowed / supported by Android. Therefore, this app requires root permissions! If you don’t know what this means, please don’t install this app!

The free version of this app allows 10 operations (enable / disable / toggle) in order to verify the app works with your version of Android and your mobile device. Then it is recommended to upgrade to the full version (In-App Inexpensive Purchase).
